High River has an active Scout Group, who are fortunate to have the best of many geographical areas in which to hike and explore. We are but a mere 1 hour from the Kananaskis ( pronounced Can- an- ask- iss) and Rocky mountain ranges and Valley, and Prairie river valleys like the Milk river, where one might discover rattle snakes and Hoo-Doos (Rock formations).
No, you can't see the Falls as they are frozen solid. But a trailside fire was just the right size to cook the all Canadian trail food..... HOT DOGS!
